Ac fan problems

A couple days ago while I was taking off my Bestop Trail Cover I pulled a newbie move and didn't get the rain water off the top and it poured all over my dash and floor. Now when I start my Jeep the AC fan blows full blast, even though the switch is turned off. Any suggestions?

Since no one had posted, I'll take a stab at it.

Is anything else acting funny or is it just the blower motor switch stuck on?
If nothing else, then I'd say you shorted the switch. Or possibly the relay.

Has it dried out yet? Any change?

The HVAC has it's own head unit (I forget the real name). You might try disconnecting the battery for a bit to reset everything.

Any warranty coverage? Time to see the dealer and act dumb!

I would take it in for warranty. I'm electrically challenged. I bet they'll take care of it. My 2010 has had plenty of water on my dash. So far so good.

Good luck.

It's been several days now and everything is dry. AC problem is still there. I'm taking it to the dealership on Monday. I think it is either the switches or the blower resistor. I'm leaning more toward the switches cause the switch that operates the blend door doesn't work either.

Does the defroster button light blink?

No, the defrost works fine. Only the fan control and the vent selector don't work.

Dealership fixed it today. Controls needed to be replaced. Thank for the direction.
