Default Adding factory amp to Uconnect 130

I have the base Uconnect 130 stereo and just replaced my four speakers with the boston acoustics from dodge and they sound a lot better but Im thinking I need a little more power for these. Has anyone added the factory amp to the base stereo? How many watts are the factory amp and does anyone have a picture of where it mounts under the dash?

I've been wondering much the same thing. I've got the 130 but no Uconnect or Inifinity system in a 2011. Anyone add a factory amp to the factory location/wiring?

Bump?

The harness isn't there to add a factory amp.

Figures. Thanks for the quick feedback. Guess I'll have to drum up some other project for this weekend!

Just a side note on the above factory wiring harness. Does there happen to be any pictures of the stock mounting location/harness? I've tried searching the fourm but haven't had much luck finding a picture of any of this. Figured I might as well learn something in the process so i'm prepared for when I buy my next Jeep.

All I know is that it mounts under the stearing column. That lower cover under there will just pull right off.

Is there a part number for the wiring harness to add the amp to a 130 or is this not possible?

Well I don't claim to know everything. But I call this, Not Possible.

Check with the dealer. I have an Alpine factory amp I'm not using. PM me.
