Am I the only idiot...
...who didn't know you could charge a phone (or at least an iphone) directly off the usb port on the front of the MyGig?
Sure wish I wouldn't have wasted money on two different chargers before figuring that one out!:rotflmao2: Before I get too excited, I guess I should ask all of you if there is any reason why connecting into the MyGig usb could screw up my phone and/or the headunit. |
Uh, I didn't know. I didn't even know you could change the screen size by spreading your fingers. I just tapped it and only got two different sizes.:duh:

nah i wouldn't think it would mess up your phone, unless you try to send and recieve files and pictures and stuff to the harddrive, but even then it should mess with your phone at all, your phone just sees it as a power source. yup USB cords charge things too, many charging devices actually just include a 12v adapter and a USB cord.:rotflmao1:

Yamaha- thanks for the serious reply. I knew USB ports could charge, I guess I just didn't stop to think that they all provide power, including the nav unit in my JK.
