Just put some scratch toward the JVC KW-AVX820 and next up is the rest of the system, including an amp to drive the speakers and subs. Im probably going to go with bazookas and interested in what you all recommend as far as driving the dash, rollbar and subs.

I like what Im reading about the alpine pdx-5 and it seems like a perfect unit to go with. Any other preferences that wont break the bank? If you are running the alpine, share your thoughts. How is it with top down?

i am running the pdx-5 under the dash, with sps-600c in the dash and sps-600 in the roll bar with a pioneer 10" in a truck box in the back and it sounds amazing with the top down on the highway. absolutely NO distortion at all.
