I have a 2011 wrangler (70th anniversary edition) that comes with 730N headunit. I've been slowly trying to upgrade its sound system so I got x4 77KICK10 and a custom subwoofer box with an amp.
and I just installed this android headunit
Cost: $267.90
and paid around 100$ to ship it via Fedex to my country Kuwait.
- the screen came pre-attached to the middle part
and there was also another dash part that covers the speedometer.
I've read many reviews about people having gap issues with these kind of units, but to my surprise I had none. I think probably due to the fact that I took my time to pry off all the plastic tabs that are meant for (right side driver seat).
Installation: Sadly it came with no instructions other than a picture of the backside where everything plugs in. but It's just like any other android headunit (if you youtube them), I replaced the stock GPS box with the new one that came with the unit (the OEM one looked like this) I just unscrewed the black box from the metal plate and installed the new antenna there.
to make sure it actually sat flush with the new panels I took my time prying off the plastic tabs and flushing them out. First impressions: the unit takes few seconds to boot up the first time but after that its just instant. speedwise, It's not slow but its not as blazing fast as current gen smartphones. once everything was updated and setup, it seemed pretty much responsive (doesnt lag when you pull up the keyboard or when you switch inbetween spotify/google maps etc). However the stock launcher is meh at best, I installed Vivid launcher and that made it much more asthetically pleasing (it is a bit heavy on the system though). Canbus wise: you do keep your steering wheel controls (vol up/down - next track etc.) and you also have the ability to program them (e.g. I programmed a mute button)
I can not speak about SiriusXM/SAT radio as those things dont exist where I live. FAN: its part of the unit and can not be removed (unless you disassemble the screen housing I suppose) ITS also Fu***** AWFUL. its a high pitched squeak/whistle, its not loud but its annoying enough if you turn the volume down. (its over 110F alldayeveryday here so I do need it). Camera: I have not installed it yet (: Speaker RCAs: it only had 2 RCA out (Left&Right) and 1 RCA for the sub (I had to get a Y adapter for my sub amplifier)
and 2 RCA (Left&Right) for AUX in (I had to get an RCA to 3.5mm jack adapter in case I wanted to use that for some reason). DSP: TBD, but it does have lots of bands to control + time correction.

Spoiler
The help part: so my JK comes with the infinity amp and I am confused on whether this headunit is bypassing it or actually using it.
First of all, the tweeter + sub channel aren't working (isnt that indicitive that the amp isnt working?). I am also able to fade the sound to the front/rear (which indicates the same).
then again how is this unit able to do that when I haven't touched any of the amp cables? I thought I wouldn't be able to hear any sound unless I bypass the amp.
the issue: the front L&R sound REALLY LOW compared to the Rear, they're almost non existant.
for now, should I just bypass the amp cables by myself? and make the headunit send signals directly to the speakers (would that solve the front sounding really low?)
Also I do plan on adding component set for the front and replacing the 77KICK10 Coax later on. so that should solve the tweeter issue.
as for the sub, I used the pre-out from the headunit.
I do plan on getting rid of factory amplifier eventually but for now I just want this thing working decently enough to get by.
