Aux fuse box
Has anyone ever put an aux fuse box in the rear storage well? Does anyone see any problems with putting it there?

Other than having to run wires a mile and a half to power it that may be exposed to abrasion and impact potentially killing what ever you have running off of it and causing a grounding of the wire draining your battery? if you can mitigate those possibilities than it would work out fabulously.

Actually, should be fairly easy. If you run one large wire (6ga, maybe) to the fuse box, and if that one itself is fused, you should be ok. I would add a wire loom around it though to protect it from said abrasions. You could even get an amplifyer kit and use that, since it will have an inline fuse near the battery side.
Of course the gauge of the wire you'd use would depend on what you plan to power off of it. That being said, what are you thinking of installing back there that would use its own fusebox? |

Because I'm having trouble finding a place to fit it under the hood.
