Both that I posted run about 1200-1400 (depending on where you buy).
They both have lower teir radios, same system but with smaller screens and hard buttons. Those usually run in the 800-900 range.

Second picture shows the spare in the of the picture.

As a back up cam it works great mounted just above my "euro" number plate which is centre of the rear bumper

I got one of the new Kenwood 9990HD. Lost of improvements over last years model. Pioneer also released the new AVIC-Z140BH, also looks to have improved quite a bit.

You've shattered my dreams. This always happens to me. I go buy the biggest and best, and the new one comes out a few months later, haha.

Are any of these (like the Kenwood HU) compatible with XM Weather? I am sure it would be an add-on and would have to be piped through the SAT tuner, but I wonder if it would work...

I just installed the JVC KW-NT50HDT Primarily for the fact that its the only double din NAV unit with a removeable faceplate and am VERY happy with it. Although if I had to do it all over again, I would buy the gizmo that let's you use all of the features while in motion.... so annoying but not as restrictive as mygig.

Default Question for anyone who has installed the New Pioneer Z140BH.

Question for anyone who has installed the New Pioneer Z140BH.

Sorry for the noob questions but I am a computer guy not a car guy. For me my jeep is my Tonka toy to learn how to do things like upgrades and mods. That being said, I am seriously thinking about installing one myself on my 2011 JK.

Did you need a Double Din mounting kit for the install or did it just fit right in?

What backup camera did you use?

What Steering Wheel Control Interface did you use (I was going to use Metra Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface)?

Did you use the AV bypass (I found a couple of youtube videos showing how to do it "AVIC Z-140BH BYPASS VIDEO" - YouTube & "Pioneer Avic-X930bt & Avic-Z130bt BYPASS" - YouTube

Any other considerations?
