Default Best OBDII Scanner for the money??

This question may have been asked before but its Christmas time and I'm going to ask the fat man for a OBDII Scanner and I want to know which one everyone recommends. I've seen that Craftsman has a couple for shy of a $100 and Matco has some starting at $100. I'm sure the answer is "it depends" on what your going to do so here is what I think I will end up using it for.

Read Engine Codes
Clear Engine Codes
Clear ABS Codes

All my vehicles have the OBDII port. I bought a cheap thing on ebay and tried using it with my Android phone. While it works pretty well to read the codes it won't clear them. And it doesn't do anything for ABS codes.

So let me know what you think?

I bought a bluepoint OBDII that does all of that from my tool guy for $80. Nothing fancy but does what it does very well.

What android software have you tried? I have the Torque app for my android and a bluetooth ODBII adapter from Amazon. It clears codes just fine.

Agree, Torque App works great for what you want and more. About $5 if you already have the Bluetooth OBDII adapter.

I have both the free version of torque and pay version, I use the free version when I want to just read a code and clear, never had a problem. The full version gives all kinds of info and for me takes a while to run a full scan. Anyone know how to check for missfires in torque? I'm using a $16 obd from eBay.

I come here from search engine to ask a question. What is the best obd2 scanner for the money of 2017? I read few google top site review like that but not sure which one should buy. Does Anybody Have INNOVA 3160 diagnostic scan tool? If any of you have this, please share your personal experience. Really it works? It price $250+ and my budget is less than $300.

Update: After Kellen@ confirmation I have placed order of Innova 3160 scan tool. It is the update version of Innova 3150 and now it is called Innova 3160.

I've had the INNOVA 3150 since 2014 and it's been awesome. Keep it in the Jeep at all times.

BlueDriver, a forum sponsor, claims they've got one that will do all of the above and it's priced at $100, available through Amazon.

I use Torque Pro and the Superchips, its been a good combo.

I have a blue driver, and it works well for everything you want. After I bought mine, my son bought one for his 2017 Titan XD diesel. Works for that also.
