Let me give a plug to the thread that helped me (Thanks Skippman)

I just wired up my Hella lack Magics to my windshield, and I love them (when I get to use them that is). I would post pics, but I don't have any yet.

Here is the only pic i have... i wired mine up yesterday; it was the first set added to this jeep and the first time i had any aux lights to a vehicle in years.

The KC slim 100w drivers i put in were super easy. The instructions are simple.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me, the write ups i saw on here were very helpful but sometimes above my skill level as far as instructions. I pretty much had to wing it on some parts of the install but was overall very pleased with the results.

Good luck!

I really like the light s mounted like this...however what about, if any glare off the hood. Or is not even a factor?

I responded to a similar post about this issue. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't buy the windshield brackets and mount them there. Too much glare. I even have glare shields. I would mount them to the bumper. They look good on the windshield, but they don't work well there IMHO.

Those are KC Slimlites. They are thinner and lighter than the daylighters. The daylights come with yellow covers. I plan on getting a set of black KC daylighters for my Jeep soon.

I can't speak for any of the other KC lights but these do not have anything i would call "glare"... sure a little light hits the hood, but nothing that I find remotely distracting. I am extremely happy with them.
