I just bough a plantronics 510 headset. It has a "Stone" microphone without holes. It is advertised for being good with wind and background noise. It is a 510. On sale now on bestbuy.com for around $70.

I have a Plantronics 655 and it works great. Better than most of the others I used regarding wind noise. A little pricey but a nice option to consider.
