Default Brake Light Delay

I noticed something this morning when I was following a 08 Wrangler Unlimited.

When the driver would use the brakes the LED centre brake light would come on before the other two main brake lights. It was less then a half of a second, but I could definitely notice it.

Has anyone else noticed this? I know I have seen articles about LED lights illuminating faster in the past, but never seen a practical application before.

Looks like I am going to go searching for a set of LED bulbs to replace the standard bulbs.

Websites will have LEDs to replace the stock bulbs. This will screw your flasher cadence though. Your turnsignals will flash twice as quickly as they did stock since the LEDs draw a lot less current. You can't change the flasher either to a heavy duty since the ECU controls this feature.

you can use resistors to make them flash as the stock blubs, although that's a waste of power.
