CB install need info
HI all getting ready to install my CB radio into the new wrangler 07 was wondering where everyone is running the ant. wire, if you hook it near the licenses plate where would you bring the coaxial into the car or if I hook it on the tire carrier what happens with the door open.

Here's a picture from the CoolTechLLC web site:

(sorry I just discovered I don't have any of my installation  - need to fix that!
I went with the CoolTechLLC CB antenna mount because it mounts on the top of the license plate bracket and the wire is entirely inside the vehicle. WHen you want to use the CB, it's just a quick quarter-turn to put it on the silver post!

I installed it with a bracket on the stock license plate holder:

You can run the wire through the back of the license plate assembly and up through the back of the assembly. The wire will come out in the very back driver side corner where the hardtop meets the Jeep (just pull up the carpet covering a bit).
Only downside is that it leaves a bit of wire and the connection exposed but we'll see if that has any real negative side effects. Also if you do it my way you can avoid the large ugly hole by either using a larger drill bit or a dremel or by crimping your own coax cable.

OK, I figured it out and have it mounted on the license plate holder. I'll post some pics later. i have to be at work in less than 6 hours, so I don't have time now. My thanks to all who responded.
