Question COGA PA speaker mount locations

Hey all

Well recently i bought the bigass coga PA system with the 2 50W speakers. They are big muthas.

Im trying to find a place to mount them that keeps em safe when wheeling. I have an LoD midwidth and when i looked at the corners of it, i think the speaker bells would hang down enough to get torn off.

Any other ideas? I looked at the engine comp. but im not sure how much heat these things can take or if i could find room for 2 of em..

I've got the shrockworks midwidth. Fairly similar at least in shape to the LOD.

I bolted the middle of the bracket into the frame. It took a nimble girlfriends fingers to bolt it in. I also double zip-tied the top to the frame to make sure it didn't swivel. 3/4" of the very bottom lip of the speaker is below the fender, but I don't see any possible way of tearing it off while off-roading.

I'm sure you could tack them into your hood or find a spot in the engine compartment. I wouldn't worry about the speakers, they're pretty heavy duty.
