Hello Jeepers,

I have a problem with the compass and Mygig and I'm not sure what is affecting the other.

The compass stated to go on and off regularly lately, and when it's off, mygig starts to act really weird. I can't turn the volume up or down in HDD or DVD mode. In addition, in FM mode, it's even worse, I can't turn off the head unit aka mygig.

I don't know if pulling of the fuse of ESP and ABS caused the problem with the compass. Because it started when I disabled the ESP for the second time. I'm very careful when pulling fuse. I turn off the JK and pull the fuse and then start again. and even when I put the fuse again I do the same thing. I never pull the fuse when the JK is running.

I'm I doing anything wrong here ??

Please help.. I don't wanna go to the dealer. they are A$$hole here in Saudi Arabia.

Have you gone through any water lately? If so you could have damaged your TIPM which would cause both problems.

Nope.. I haven't even washed the engine..

I mostly play on little rocks and sand dunes..

Have you put the fuse back in enabling your ESP to see if that corrects the problem.
