Default Drivers Side Tweeter Cutting in and Out

Hi Everyone,
I have a 2015 JKU with the Alpine system. The front drivers side tweeter started cutting in and out while driving, over bumps, etc. Seemed to only start once the weather got cold. I checked the plug on the speaker and nothing unusual. I do have an aftermarket HU but that was installed early summer so that install is not the cause (unless a loose connection was created because of it).

Any guidance on tracking this down? Is the front drivers side lower speaker wired on the same channel as the tweeter or are they wired separate (ie with the tweeter having a crossover somewhere)?

Thanks all!

Todd

Default Alpine System

I have a 2017 JKU sahara, with the Alpine system as well.all the speakers on the driver side stopped working, then work then stop very random, I have a Sony aftermarket radio. I have an amp pusing 4 more speakers (connected to the radio using the RCA connectors) and those speakers work fine. After reading some forums someone suggested it was the OEM amp. Some options are 1.Bypass the amp, you need to rewire the speakers. 2. Get the OEM amp or 3. Get a previously own amp. I got one used from ebay. Swapped it and it has been 4 days and all the speakers work. Amp part number is 68223347AC
Here are the instructions on how to remove the amp. I hope it helps.
