Dual Battery Alternative?................... Priority Start

Has anyone installed one of these Priority Start devices? I worry about running my battery down when alone (i.s. running a travel refrigerator) and this appears to be a less expensive fix than a dual battery setup.

One of my GOVs has this thing. It didn't help when the battery was completely drained from sitting for a few months. I just replaced the battery in it, I'll let you know how well (if at all) it works.
