Default dually vs d2 again

I have a 20" led bar on the bumper. It is a combo spot/flood. I have some led on the a pillar already but they are more of a flood light. I want to get more of a spot beam. Not sure what ones to go with. I know d2 are brighter but how far do they actually spot? The dually is a spot so I think ill go that route. Just wondering about others opinions and experiences with both lights.

d2 driving will give you 1 lux at 135M or 443 feets
dually spot will give you 1 lux at 200M or 656 feet

Note the D2 are 30M or 98 Feet wide at their max and the dually are 10M or 32 feet wide at their max

if you want a real spot light go with the dually, I hope it not for rock crawling behind a guy

P.S 1 lux is consederend the minimum to read the news papper.

Really? Was this from the complicated chart rigid has on their site?

Interesting numbers...

I had a pair of d1's that were floods but their back at rigid being converted to spots

Hoping the spots will be more road friendly???

If your looking for "road friendly", then you should try using a beam pattern designed for the road.

Where are you finding the Duallys for under $100? Also, as I said, we have a significant promotion going on that's only open to the first 100 people who email me (see above).

Plus, our light is using a single 10 watt LED in a housing that's only slightly smaller (2.5" vs 3") than the Dually which has 4 LEDs which means we have more room for optics. Make sense?

Every vendor I've seen sells Duallys for less than $100 or $189 for a pair.
