Default Dually's for fog lights... Which pattern?

Which pattern is more suitable for fog lights? I intend to use them on the street, and don't want to blind the crap out of people.

I believe I have the hybrid floods and they work great

I got them from northridge...I was going to get the spots but David at northridge talked me out of it, they recommend the hybrid floods

Are you mounting on the factory fog location with a BDF bracket?

I wrote up my installation of that setup last week

Best beam pattern for a fog light? I believe that would be a "Foglight Beam Pattern". Spots and Floods are not permited for street use.

the floods *aimed properly* would be the best choice(i'm running these on my dd car without issue). the spots will blind the crap out of people. the floods are pretty bright too, but the pattern is much better suited to a fog light. mount them low and aim them down-ish and you should be ok.

They all still blind the hell outta people unless you aim them downward in which 50% of the reason you.bought them is to see better

I just installed two Duallys (D1) with the hybrid flood/spot beam pattern (Part# 20211) on the Quadratec grille brackets, located 18" apart, directly above the stock fogs. I have them aimed down slightly. They work great as fogs, and since they're aimed down a bit they're not blinding to oncoming traffic (although they're VERY bright).

Yeah I know in many states it's illegal to drive with driving lights on low, even if they come from the factory wired on low beam. The statues say that a driver is supposed to manually shut off any aux driving lights and ANY aux driving lights can only be on High Beam. So hopefully everyone is wiring all their lights on high beam only.
I set all my lights exactly where they work the best and just shut off them when on coming traffic comes
