So if you are in one of the states where the mygig is coded(no video at all) does the freegig allow you to play DVDs or am i totally out of luck?

I printed it out and took it to the dealership/service department when I was getting some other warranty stuff done. I handed it to the service girl and she said be right back. She took it to the service manager and she told me that it should not be a problem but that they couldn't do it that day because they were swamped. So I will let yall know when/if I get it done and if it works. I am going to call on monday or tuesday and speak directly with the manager and get his exact words on it. Wish me luck.

I am having trouble finding where to purchase the FreeGig unit - anyone have experience with someone they would recommend I go through?

I bought my Jeep in Florida and my "my gig" video out put was disabled as well. I have family that lives in New Orleans La. I went to one of the dealers there and asked the service manager if he had a tech that knew something about the my gigs they had a tech that had a StarSCan tool he connected it to the input on my jeep and he activated the video output. It is Very nice.

I have been looking into the blue gig and now the all gig but I just keep waiting for the price to drop. cant justify 750. I'm not bashing Nav tv I think they make a good product but simply not willing to drop that money for that right now.
