Default E-Disco install Wiring Help

I did a bunch of forum / google searches, but couldn't find a thread on this. If I missed it, feel free to point me in the right direction...

I'm looking at buying a used e-disco to install in my Sahara. I'd prefer not to have to run it through the ECM and just install it with a standard on and off switch.
Anybody know if this is possible / how hard it is? The wiring harness has 5 wires. Heres the wiring diagram:

My question is what do I run the Can C+ / C- wires too? Are those 5 volt or 12 volt?
The final question, should I just skip this and buy a SWAYLOC pneumatic disconnect? It'd be a few hundred $ more.
Any guidance would be appreciated.... Thanks.

You CANNOT enable it with an ON/OFF switch ... it MUST interface with the CANBUS and use the factory switch to disconnect and reconnect. The controller attached to Swaybar is recieving multiple parameters from the ECM to determine if it should lock or unlock the bar. This includes vehicle speed, 4WD status and control button status.

Here is how you must wire it ...

There have been several successful hacks to the JK edisco set up. You can bypass the computer and make it work directly if your remove the electronic card inside the swaybar motor. In fact, if your edisco shorts out, you can get it working again using a separate switch.

You can get the required switches from otrattw.com

That is cool, thanks for sharing! Mine won't reconnect right now, thinking of throwing the computer out and doing this!

This does work, just did it this weekend. But, one step was left out, you'll need to remove the motor to unwind the clock spring, otherwise when you hit the switch to disengage, it will just lock back up.

With this mod, can you tell me if the "stock" sway bar idiot-lights are activated / deactivated, or are they on (or off) all of the time?

Yes, the light will be blinking, but it can be disabled with a ProCal. Its awesome to be able to lock and unlock the sway bar when I want too, not when a computer wants too. Hell, I might just find the blinking bulb and pull it.
