Default Electric Lock Problem

I have a 2008 Wrangler X JKU. I have owned the Jeep for about 2 years and the electric locks have never worked. They work like once a trip and then not again and usually to lock the doors. The fobs do not work either ( Batteries have been changed) Last-year when I changed the Jeep battery the fobs and locks worked once or twice then not again plus I also have the ringing noise that is activated when you exit your car with the keys still in the ignition it comes on every time I open the door weather the jeep is running or not or without the key being in the ignition. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok just fixed it. Put some wd 40 silicone in the ignition moved the key around. I think it has something to do with opening where the key goes in, it is not lined up with the molding so it can pop back into place after you pull the key out. I moved it around and lined it up and it seems to have fixed the problem no more DINGING AND THE REMOTE WORKS NOW.
