Added a 52 light bar and it looks awesome, however...the buffeting of the soft top WAS incredible! So, this is how I fixed it!
I purchased a light bar cover and it helped with noise but did not eliminate the buffeting. I installed foam inside around the soft top bars to stop the rattles at the stop
This is the prototype shot. Slot at bottom for adjustments.
The Real Fix is moving the light bar forward and below the roof line. I moved it forward using 10 gauge steel triangles to place the bar three inches forward and one inch lower. Still playing with an exact location for fine tuning, but 95 percent of buffeting gone 0 to 80mph. Hope this helps!
