Let me know if that works.

I didnt think it would work seeing that the esp button tells the computer what to do and if you want it permenantly turned off you have to tell the computer by doing the steering wheel trick. Now breaking the circuit to the esp switch, i would think, would just not allow you to use the esp button not permenantly turn it off like youre thinking.

Thats just my 0.02. Im curious to see how this plays out.

Why dont you just use a SPDT relay?

+ to 86
switch to 85
switch to ground
ESPWIRE in to 30
ESPWIRE out to 87a

DONE!!!! just got in from finishing up the ESP kill switch.. only other mod that is easier is the mirror drill mod cut the purple wire with LIGHT blue stripe.. spliced it from and to a rocker switch.. all worked out GREAT.. thanks for the tips guys!

I want to do this on my 09' Rubi. I this "purple wire" at the esp switch?

yup.. just cut that purple wire with LIGHT blue stripe!!

Nice! Now does this just turn off the ESP or ABS and BAS with it?

Awesome I think I might have to do this for my switch pod.
I hate doing the steering wheel trick and I need esp during the winter months beacuse there are some crazy drivers!

So I drilled through the switch pod and now I can't turn the hazards on or the esp off. I like the idea of putting a switch in for the ESP, but would it work for the hazards also?
