factory radio volume control glitch
 

I have a 09 Rubicon with the factory touch screen radio with nav. When I turn the volume knob up or down the actual volume either stays the same, or goes the opposite way im turning the knob. It will also sometime just go up in volume one or two notches when I turn the knob alot. Any ideas?

Potentiometer (Or pot) the knob is connected to is toast.

Any way to fix this without replacing the entire unit?

Does it work properly when you turn the knob slower?

It sometimes works better when I turn it very slowly.
