Question Faster directional blinking - Bulb is ok

Guys,

Here's one for you all:

My right directional blinking light flashes twice as fast as the left one. If you check if it's really blinking on the outside, it's not.

The bulb as usual right? Checked the bulb and it's ok. Replaced with a new one anyways and still no blinking on the right side. Replaced the 'non blinking bulb' from the right side with the 'ok blinking bulb' from the left side, the right side continues not to blink....

Being a computer guy, and since so much on the JK is computer, let's restart it. So I disconnect the battery for 10 mins or so... and voila! Now the right side blinks normally, just as the left one.

Since my JK is not my daily driver, I leave it to rest so I can play over the weekend. When I use my right directional on the weekend, I have the fast blinking again!!!

If I do the reset thing, everything goes back to normal... Just so that next weekend I get the same fast right blinking light, and no outside blinking at all.

I have no error messages on the computer (checked it with my Superchips device).

Any ideas?

Best regards,

Hans

Mine was wonky like that too and it turned out to be mud in the socket on the fender. I cleaned it out and protected it with dielectric grease.
