firewall access for amp wire

could anyone tell me where a good spot to go through the firewall or any hidden spots to get the power wire to my new amp to the battery?

Passenger side door jam, twist the vent out, pull the triangular piece of plastic out, carefully, and you should see some foam. Push a clothes hanger through there, attach wire, pull back and you are done. Even puts the wire right there at the battery.

Also on pass side, look in the corner, at the footwell, for a big bundle of factory wires in a rubber boot. Slice it a little and do the coat hanger trick.

Another spot I prefer is an unused rubber grommet on the driver side right at the top. I had it on my '08 JKU Sahara and my '12 JK Sahara. Just a small slice through it with a razor and it's good to go. I fit a 4 AWG wire through it with tons more room to spare.

The wire will come out behind the dash near the driver side tweeter. You can pull the grommet out too while running your wire so you don't have to fight the friction.

No need to remove any panels or vents, and no other wires in the way, if you go this route.

I second the driver side option. I have used it to run two 6 gauge power wires through without issue and there is still a little more room.
