Default Freegig install

I just received the Freegig from NavTV today, and you no longer need to solder or cut any wires. It comes complete with another harness so you just plug the freegig into the back of the mygig, and plug the can bus plug into the freegig harness, and you are done.

The instructions still tell you to cut and splice the wires, but it's plug and play now. Works great, too.

kohrfam,

Man, I'm close to breaking down and buying the freegig myself but just keep waiting and hoping they might come down in price but doesn't look like it will happon. I posted a couple of ?'s to one of the dealers on the other forum but have not gotten a response. maybe you can answer a few.
1. does the voice response allow you to navigate from say the satalite to the cd , can you tell it to go to track 3 or whatever track you want ? Guess the ? is how much will the voice response truely allow it to be hands free?
2. does the bluetooth work regardless of whether you have the nav on or the dvd in motion on?
thanks in advance for all the help.

Freegig doesn't enable Bluetooth. Bluegig does - separate module.
