Fuse tap

Hi
I am planning tomorrow to install my two RR fog/driving lights on my bumper bar. My question is do I need to keep the in-line fuse? Should I just leave it in or remove? I'm using the 10 amp fuse tap suggested by JK-Ford.

what is the wattage on your lights and what fuse are you tapping into?

I'm putting in a new fuse with a 10 amp rating. JK-Ford outlined the location on one of his posts. The on-line fuse is also 10amps. The harness is for two fog/driving lamps from R Ridge (6" slim).

If you are just using this tap for power to switches ( that are switching relays ) , you can use the existing tap to switch the new relay too. Just simply install the new switch. Remove the wire that feeds power to the new switch. Then connect a wire from one of the old switches to the new switch for power.
