Default Which headlight kit to get??

I'm at a toss up for headlight kits. I was thinking of getting either the Delta DOT Hi/Lo Xenon H4 conversion kit or the KC Hilites H4 conversation kit. Not much difference in price. I use the PIAA H13 bulbs now but the high beam has blown out twice now. LED headlights are way to much. Can't see paying that.

Neither. Both are pretty poor. Get the HID bixenon headlights. They can be built in any color you want, with any shroud you want, and they actually improve the lighting. It is probably the best mod I have done to my rig so far.

Looked at the lights. I like them but according to their website they are not DOT approved, offroad use only. Not any good for my state they are strict with the yearly inspection.

The headlight housing is still stamped DOT approved. Image taking the OEM headlights and gutting them, and replacing the guts. The outside of the headlight (which gets re-used) still carries the DOT stamp. Loopholes are awesome. If you are hellbent on being 100% kosher, go with the trucklights.

The HID projector headlights put out the most even light, the LEAST blinding to oncoming traffic with a crisp sharp cutoff, and uses the least power (other than LED.)

I have a H4 conversion kit with the philips 9003 XP super bright white bulbs. I got it through Susquehanna MotorSports. I think it was around $275 for the kit. It was by far the best mod I have done. The only complaint is no one local where I live carries these bulbs for replacement. Companies can order them for $60-$70. Otherwise u order them from Amazon for $29
