Default Help choosing amp

I am trying to plan out my audio system. I believe I am going to go with two component sets of Polk db6501's. To power the 100 watt rms these speakers can handle I am considering the Alpine PDX4.100. I have also looked into the JL XD400/4 however this amp puts out 75w x 4. Anyone else have any other ideas for a good amp for 4 components. Also I am aiming for something small to tuck away under the dash.

The JL amps are solid. I'm also a big fan of Diamond audio. Check them out

On just a quick look the only diamond audio amp with the power I am looking for to all 4 speakers is on the larger side and not very concealable. I'll look into it a bit more.

i use the pioneer gm-d9500f 4ch amp and love it.. it is a 75x4 but it is more than enough for my polk db's and is a class D that fits perfectly under my seat and makes little heat. inexpensive with great quality.

The Rockford Fosgate PBR class amps are very small. And some people say they are very good. But being that the "Power Boosted Rail" is a new technolodgy, I was a little bit hesitant in investing in these amps. "notsoricer" is correct. 75 watts is more than enough power for the db6501's. See my stats for my system. Here is my Class D amps. \/ \/ \/

I run the same thing, amp also mounted under driver seat (suspended between rails and out of sight) with db6501 up front and db651 in the sound bar. I run a second amp off the first for my jl audio 8w1.

System sounds great and I get many compliments, especially since everything still runs off the stock headunit

Rockford has always made good amps. Any many of them are small in size and concealable

Yeah they are large amps, probably more for show. But they sound incredible. Very good sound quality

If you haven't seen their PBR amps, they are really worth taking a look at. I'm just waiting on other good people to "field test" them before I go out and buy one.
