Purchased Cibie diffusers along with a wiring harness & 60/65 watt bulbs. I am satisfied with all the parts I purchased, the wiring harness is very good quality and the Cibie diffusers are much nicer than the OEM diffusers. However, now with suppling more power to the bulbs they only last a few months (3-5 months) before burning out. This modification changed the OEM bulb connector (forgot the number) to an H4 connector. Since the Cibie diffusers work so well I would like to keep them and power the H4 bulbs with the stock wiring harness with the goal of having the H4 bulbs last longer than a few months. I haven't had any luck finding a female H4 plug that would adapt back to the stock JK harness. Please advise...... The online store I purchase the system from suggested very expensive European bulbs and I'd rather not take that route for a couple reasons: 1. each bulb costs over $40, 2. if they burn out prematurely shipping to Europe is not cheap or fast! I'm getting tired of changing bulbs please help!
