Help with windshield lights..
Can anyone post pics of how you hooked up your windshield lights, how you ran the cables etc.. I'm installing my hella black magic lights on my windshield soon and was wondering what you guys did. Thanks in advanced.. I know I should have gone with some better lights but that's all I could afford on the budget the wife has me on right now lol..

Grab the cover on the wiper arm at the hinge point. Pull up on the back side. It will pivot up. Then just pull it straight out. Under the cover is a nut to remove the wiper arms. The cowling itself has 4 allen screws and 4 plastic rivets. Once the cowling is remove, you should clearly see how the wiper motor wireing is ran back into the engine bay. Follow this route on both sides for each light. Just allow the new wires to exit the cowling at the corner seam next to the window. |

After you remove the nut on the windshield wipers, should they just pop right out? Just pull?

Dont knock your lights, Hella 500 style are great lights. I ran them on my first Jeep and loved them. I know Ive seen a lot of guys and gals running them on their windshields, roofs and bumpers. I ran mine back in 94 so you know they ae good or they wouldnt still be around and unchanged.

Thanks I'm going to try this tomorrow, hopefully I can get it done in one day, not knocking them just that everyone I talk to said I should have gone with the rigid lights, but I think these will be great lights, specially since they are my first set of off road lights
