HID suggestions

Default HID suggestions

Im wanting to upgrade my headlights and fogs to hid. But not sure what brands to look at and stay away from. I do want hi lo beams for the headlights. So what does everyone suggest?

I would go with VVME, and specifically one of their CANBUS kits - you will have to call this order in or ask a rep online as the CANBUS ballasts are not listed.

I have found the beam pattern to be very acceptable with the stock housings, and apparently so has oncoming traffic and law enforcement in every jurisdiction I have been in.

If you do a search, you can find plenty of information posted by me showing that HID are legal in most areas, and I have posted beam patterns similar to factory HID patterns.

Worn out on this battle however, so I won't repost.

If you want more light, HID is the only way to go. Incandescent bulbs are a very old technology - and although they have been improved significantly, they are still old and outdated.

If you want to see for yourself, order a VVME or DDM kit for your fogs and install them. The fogs do not need to be canbus ballasts, the headlamps should be.
