Just got some hide away Leds now just need to figure out where on the lights to mount them.

Had to cut half of the back grooves off to make them fit back it the jeep.

I ordered LED and have had them for about a month. Just need to be installed. Wife and kids are out of town for the rest of the week thing I will install them tonight or tomorrow... Thanks for posting your pic's They will help out for sure

What groves did you have to cut? The heat sync's on the back of the LED's?

Yeah the heat sync's it was a PITA! But the only other option was cutting some of the body to make them fit. I should have taken another pic, I had to cut away more than is shown in the pics. I have the strobe and more leds which are all metal on the back.

Crap i have the same ones... I will have to check it out tonight. Can they be mounted on the other side? i am only doing the brake lights
BTW. this is my first set I have a normal drill that is 1".. Is that the best way to get a good hole or is a hole saw better??

I used a regular drill just take your time. I didn't want to mount them there but it looked like the only place to do it that wouldn't get in the way of the brake light. They aren't as bright as I thought but there also isn't any reflector material in the tail light

That sucks!! Did you get the red LED's for the brake light enclosure?

Yeah I got red. The white would have been dimmer lol. Don't get me wrong it does the job.

Anyone do there headlights yet...i have a six head strobe pack and have done the two rears already. I was going to use the remaing two for the head lights..Plus my whelen slimlighter for a dash light

That's my next project. But I have to finish making my brackets to hold the tir6's. I'm painting them now so hopefully this weekend I can take the grill off and do the headlights and grill lights
