Hids or led

I was able to use a screw on the inside lip of both buckets to gain the ability to adjust the lights away from each other, straight ahead of my Jeep. Now that they are right, I am totally in love with them.
They are a huge improvement over the factory bulbs, Phillips X-treme, and Silverstar bulbs (tried em'). I have no experience with complete replacements such as Hellas or Cibies. If there are any signs or reflectors in front of me, even 3/4-1 mile down the road, they will light up like it is daylight and I have never been flashed once!
I have no issue with the flicker. The only time that I catch it, is if I am parked up against a building or behind a car in traffic; it is not visible or distracting when driving. The nice thing is that I didn't have to cut/splice/hack/gouge/torch/weld/wirenut/blacktape/soldier/spend money on a special harness, etc. to make these work. Mine came with the proper plug on the lights and I just plugged them in!
I am sure there other opinions, and I know that there are brighter lights out there. One thing that I can't deny is that they look friggin' cool when they are on, even in daylight. Only the top 1/2 of the light is lit when the lows are on and they look like NOTHING else out there on the road (at least in my neck of the woods here in MA).
Since these have been in production for a while, it is not uncommon for someone wanting the new generation to sell them off at a fair used price. I paid $350 for mine.
Have fun, good luck
