It still beeps while you are driving? When you do this correctly, you'll still get the intial beep reminding you to put your belt on, and the seat belt light will stay illuminated, BUT it won't beep once every 10 seconds if you are driving without a seatbelt.

Oh I see! Thanks for the explanation. I always start my Jeep and then (as the garage door opens) I put my phone in the cupholder and fasten my seatbelt. I was trying to eliminate that first set of beeps. I never get beeps later on because the seatbelt is fastened by then.

How would you undo this and go back to the bell reminding you to buckle up?

I think just by disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds I could be wrong though its a good question.
