You're having some kind of luck with the programmers. Weren't you the one who couldn't get the Superchips Flashpac to work? Reminds me of the luck I had this weekend with parts. lol Sorry to hear you're having issues.

I have had about every problem you could have from the Hypertec Programmer. I got a similar message when I programmed mine right after doing an update and my Jeep wouldn't take the return to stock program much like yours. It seems Hypertec has had a lot of issues with this last program they wrote for the JK. I ended up having to talk to hypertec ( for about a week ) and they took my serial number to my programmer and wrote a program to rip everything off of it when I plugged it in to update it. They went through all the files that were stored on it and re-wrote me a program and the next time I updated it the new program loaded on it and I have had no problems with it since. I doubt I will do another update for a long time or at least till I know they fixed this problem for good.

after our phone session, it seems my jeep does not want to "wake up" the ecu to take programming. he made me go out and search for aftermarket stuff. i know my jeep fairly well, and have found no aftermarket acc. so, on my dime, he wanted the unit shipped back to look at. it's just out of here ups.
