Default video for DIY "Dbox" like an SPOD

Here are the videos, is this terrific? anyone notice anything dangerous about them?

Off-Road Lighting - How the DBox is made. (Part: 1) - YouTube

Off-Road Lighting - How the DBox is made (Part: 2) - YouTube

It looks great to me, I just want a pro to look it over before I start.

Looks OK. There is plenty room for improvement. The only thing that I dislike the most is: the builder has restricted the load carrying capacity to only 30 amp. This is only enough power to feed just ( 1 ) of my lighting circuits.

would improvement be as simple as a thicker gauge power wire and a higher amperage in line fuse? Or is it at 30 amps for some other reason?

The main power wire and inline fuse holder in the vid was #10 awg/30 amp. This wire and fuse should be bigger. Full load capacity of ( 5 ) 30 amp relays would be 150 amps. But, if you design this circuit around a known load ( if you already know everything that you want to connect ), then you may not need this much capability. Also, the builder went to a lot of trouble to get a water-prof inclosure. But he didn't make water-prof penetrations in the box. If he were to use multi conductor corded cable with weather prof CG connectors. Then he would have a water tight installation.

that is exactly what i posted on his video.

I am using a 85 am circuit breaker with a 4 gauge wire in my auxiliary fuse box.

work in progress:

If he steps up his fuse because it keeps blowing, then you are correct.

This is why I use SPod. It is tried and proven and definatly the cleanest looking power management system on the market. Now if only it didn't cost an arm and a leg.
