Default Lovin it

So far I really love this JVC HU, the EQ alone drastically improves the sound coming out of the factory infinity setup.

GPS is very accurate, units boots up in about 10 seconds, removable face when top down!, wireless music streaming with my iphone, hands free phone connect........ the list goes on... built in HD radio.....Life time traffic which is very accurate!

I'm so happy that I installed the unit. Now when summer comes I'll install some new Kappa speakers.

Oh on a side note, after installing the HU and adjusting the EQ the little sub in the back really comes to life!

Oh, I don't think I make mention of the model: KW-NT3HDT

Just installed 63.9i infinity kappa in the sound bar, definitely sound crisper however they become a little muffled at full volume just like the stock infinitys. I'll stuff the sound bar with poly to see if that helps.

I can definitely hear the soundbar speakers now!

I only get the muffled sound when I change the EQ to certain setting. For reference I never got it with the stock HU, but the stock unit seems to have a pretty flat EQ setting.

I'll install some kappa component speakers up front this weekend; already have the dynamat to line the speaker boxes.

How did that component install go? What model Kappas did you get in there? Do you have the Infinity upgrade or base system? I'm looking at getting some Kappa components, but I'm want an easy install.

I have the factory infinity system. The front speakers I installed the kappa 60.9. Dynomatted the box interiors. Speakers are a little big so I had to offset the speaker in the speaker adaptor Lou ing ring. Passenger side was cake, drivers side is a real bitch.

Any specific trim kit to make a easy fit in the dash?

Used the install kit that came with the speakers. Only thing you have to do is offsetting the speaker slightly in the box.

For sure you have to dynamat or stuff with poly the speaker enclosures with these speakers.

Sorry I had a couple threads going and was speaking of speakers earlier. I purchased a mopar double din install kit, it was like $13. Got mine at crutchfield but I see them at best buy as well.

You have to make sure to have the antenna conversion adaptor and the PAC. If you are installing this exact unit and have the factory infinity system the wires from the HU dont match color in all cases to the PAC. In fact you don't even use all the wires on the PAC or HU with the infinity setup as you only use the rear channel, the factory amp does the rest.

If you need to know what color wire connects from JVC to. PAC I think I can supply as I have it written down somewhere. Wow this is a lot to write from a phone.

Hope this helps

I figured this out when I replaced mine. If I remember correctly, both black were negative. Seemed too logical, but I had to make sure anyways.
