Default Infinity system Pic Request

Hey, can those of you with the infinity system post pictures of the subwoofer. I'd like to see exactly how it's mounted. Also, anybody have any dimensions of the woofer?

I'm considering adding a basslink to my JK, and want to compare it's size to that of the jeep installed unit.

I know that the basslink is going to be larger than the stock sub. I am looking to put a basslink in as well but where to put it is leaving me second guessing since there isn't a large enough flat area in the rear of my 2dr, the recessed storage gets in the way. May look at something that i can get under my front seats instead (basslink wont fit unfortunately).

Here's a pic of my Basslink installed. It's mounted to a 3/4" piece of MDF that's covered with carpet. I drilled a hole through the MDF and then down through the storage cover thing, and then bolted the board to the storage cover....that way it doesn't slide around.

I happen to have mine sitting right here next to me, and it measures about 15" x 15" at the widest/longest including the mounting brackets. I'm actually thinking of selling it off if you are interested. It works fine, just took up too much space for my needs.

yeah i have the same exact thing in my jk. looks exactly like the pic above. sounds good, was able to hook it up to my stock headunit. i wanted to keep my stock headunit and just add a little bass to fill in the music...which this does perfectly!! and i can also turn down the bass ALOT for the speakers so they dont distort!!! im happy with it

The factory sub is only held down w/ 2 bolts I think (easy to remove).

I heard it was easy to remove and all, but I was sort of snooping around my non-infinity jeep, seeing if I could find out where jeep would bolt them down. I'm thinking of adding a basslink to mine, and I'm not too keen on drilling into the floor yet...

So, I was wondering if I could find out how the stock woofer bolts up (I.E.- is there a special bracket coming off of bolts already present? Does the stock floor have threaded studs welded in, then painted over???) so that I can maybe fab up a bracket myself....

Ah, so there are bolts.... with nuts... So i guess I'm out of luck as far as using existing bolts goes.

Unless somebody can look it up in the service manual???
