Default Installing battery cable harness on a 2011 jku..need help!

From years of wheelin in mud and water crossings my battery cable wiring harness is shot. And if you have had problems with starting your jk even though you have replaced the battery, alternator and starter...the only other fix is to replace the cables. as you can see from the pictures i have easily located all locations for the harness but one! i can tell from following it, it goes back behind the block somewhere

Then on top of that, I would recommend doing/installing in a negative ground from negative battery post to alternator bracket bolt....

Just find a nice place on the engine somewhere that makes a clean contact and wont be damaged and put it there. It dosent have to be exaclty where it use to be as long as its making a good connection with the metal of the engine.

I am going to do that but the issue is I can't get to the ground wire to cut it and it's wired tightly with a positive wire.

As you can see the two wires are joined. One to the starter one to the ground. And getting to it to cut the wires is impossible

Glad I saw this. I have a hydraulic terminal crimper and want to make some new cables. I have been running a data logger to get an idea of voltage before and after the switch. I'm not expecting an increase in voltage/amperage, but more consistent would be nice, especially with a winch and larger stereo.

Remember when a winch is in full use it uses like 400CCA. Worth of power.
