Default Installing Eonon 905

Hi Jk owners. I'm going to tackle installing this Eonon 905 with gps. I went with this because of the price and I want to install a rear camera. I think this unit is din 1. Please give me some help so I can order the parts I need to install this in the dash. I'll update this with pictures and coments after I'm finshed. Here is a web page on the unit. http://www.eonon.com/index.php?controller=Default&action=ProductDetails &pid=10 Thanks Jeepers

You have to install TV antenna Also later your would have to get digtal box witch are available. I ordered the installion kit and antenna adapter, Metra XSVI-6522 harness. I hope these will work with this unit. Thanks

you can pick this unit and the double din varieties on ebay all the time cheaper than this one, as i have been looking at a double din unit for a while now, but there are no harness adapters available here, so it means i'll have to hack into the harness which is why im not so sure!

i have about sorted my headrest screens now and have a further one to mount on the soundbar to hook in too

I got this unit on Ebay for $244.00. I'll let you know if the adapter wiring kits I order work as soon as I get all my parts. Should be this week.

First I started with making the wire harness.I don't like crimp connectors so I solder and heat shrink the ends. I could have made this harnness smaller I didn't was not sure what is in all the little boxs on the adapter kit and radio harnness.

Next was the GPS box this has a SD card for upgrading the unit so I wanted it in a place easy to get to.

I installed it on the drivers side kick panel with Radio Shacks Hook-and Loop fasteners. Don't like drilling holes.
