my interior lights are not coming on when the doors are opened. The security system shows all of the doors as open, when they are actually opened. There is no security indication when the hood is open. The changed the hood switch, but nothing changed. Any suggestions would be great.

 

Make sure they are not shut off on the stalk.

 

They are not. also, the stalk will not turn them on. Each can be individually turned on by pushing the button on each light. The stalk ring selector will adjust the dash brightness, but will not turn on the Dome lights. Could be a defective stalk though?????

 

I never rule anything out until I can prove it. So just the domes aren't working? You said the system shows the doors as open when they are open. That would be by design. Do the domes come on manually when you push them? You may have a loose connection somewhere.

One thing that sometimes works for electrical gremlins is to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes.
