Default Interior lights won't come on with switch

Hey everyone, I did a search and am only coming up with posts for when the lights are not working at all. My interior lights will come on when the doors are open, but will not come on if I turn the switch to on. The switch will dim the dash and all that, just not turn the light on. Not sure where to start since the switch is still partly working. Thanks!!

Mine is doing exactly the same thing. 2009 JKUR. I also am looking for a solution for this issue.

Replacing the stalk would be the quickest thing to try. The next thing would probably be the clockspring. I've seen odd things happen, similar to your description, with a bad clockspring...even on models as new as 2015.

Just my luck, figures, it wouldn't be a straight forward thing. Don't really want to take it to the stealership, but might have to.

The stalk and clockspring are absolutely replaceable by the end user. Find instructions for adding cruise control to an older JK and follow them, it's not bad to do. I've added cruise and later replaced my clockspring.

Does anything on either stalk go through the clock spring?

As far as I know, only those items that spin with the steering wheel go through the clock spring.

Anche alla mia non accendono. Sostituito il clockspring ma non ho risolto. Mi rimane che sostituire il devioluci e speriamo bene
