Default Ipad Mini Install

So I picked up an iPad mini and it seems perfect for the dash of my 12 Rubi. I am thinking I can just connect using the USB in the glove box but need to keep the stock radio connected somewhere. I want to custom mount the iPad in the stock radio location. Thought on where to put the stock radio? Maybe adjust the mount somehow to recess it further back and let the iPad sit in front of it? Any other thoughts on getting this setup to work? I would like to retain the stock Bluetooth calling and steering wheel controls. I think if I just relocate the stock radio and use USB interface it seems like an easy integration.

I'd get an OtterBox case and connect it using the USB port as you said. You could also connect using the Bluetooth too.
You can get a wifi router from Mopar to get Internet for the iPad and any computer you may use.

These are some pre-made dashes you can buy supposedly. It's a company in my but I couldn't find it. Maybe someone can chime in with the company name. This would work nice though. I'm interested to see what you find cause I wouldn't mind doing this either if I can retain my factory controls and Bluetooth connection.

Did you find the company name that makes those dash inserts?
