Default IPF 968 Mouse Switch Re-Wire?

Hi folks,

I just received a set of IPF 968 lights for the front of my Jeep. I am looking at the wiring harness and think it's excellent, EXCEPT for the mouse-style switch.

I have the RR A-pillar switch pod in my Jeep and would prefer to wire the 968's to a switch in this panel... Looking at the mouse harness it looks like there are 3 wires connected to it - red, white and black.

Has anyone cut the mouse switch off and wired it to a RR switch before? I tried searching and couldn't find an answer.

If so, can someone please confirm which wire should be connected to what prong on the RR switch?

Thank you for any assistance,

André

Black should be your ground, white should be your switched power to the lights and red should be your power. White is probably in the middle?

Thanks - that's what I figured... Just wanted to make sure before I either short out my lights or start a fire in my Jeep.

Thanks again!
