Default Iphone REV app

Anybody have hands on with this app, it seems like a fun and cool gadget.

Basically, the app reads and displays info from your ECU via the OBD-II port. It uses a wifi doggle that plugs into the port. You can see, in real time, air intake temp, MAS, horsepower and torque, oil presure and whatever else is monitored by your vehicle.

Kiwi Wifi + iMFD combines the best of both worlds into one product. Since the OBDII port does not offer all the sensors you may want to monitor, the added iMFD sensor support allows you to add up to 32 additional dedicated sensor modules from the PLX product line. This includes wideband Air/Fuel Ratio, Exhaust Gas Temperature, Fluid Temperatures and much more.

Hmmmm gots me thinkin' It seems to work like DEFi gauges in information delivery.

The OBD port I thought does report Trans Temp as the Aeroforce Interceptor (Which I like too) Not only monitors all parameters reported to the ECM/Pcm but you can reset trans shifting maps too. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...light=obd+port

if PLX dissabled the OBD reporting in their dongle ..... to make it so you have to buy modules ..... they can keep the cool factor.

Well counting it's more accurate than the gauges Jeep provides, I'm not sure why not. All it does is interface the OBD to the device, giving you access to the real data. Can't get much more accurate than that.

Yes I agree but the extra sensor modules are pricey and installation may be a bit complicated. Anyone know what the JK's ECU would report?

I'm waiting to get my $100 crutchfield gift card from some card reward points and then I'm getting the wifi conector, if anything I will be able to check engine codes and it may be a bit more fun on the spousal unit's 370Z.
