Default Issue with voice dialing on 730N

Has anyone experienced issues when voice dialing? All the sudden when I say, "call xxxxxxxxx", the stupid thing says calling, "googley411". Is there some sort of setting that I accidentally switched to Pig Latin?! Now I have to manually dial... what's next? Am I going to have to get up and change my own TV channels with pliers?!?!

Any help on this is appreciated.

In order to dial by phone number and not contract name you need to use the term "dial" not "call" so for instance, in order to dial 510-555-8172 you need to press the button and say "dial 510-555-8172"

If you wanted to talk to a contact named John you would say " call John mobile" or "call John home"

Hope that helps.

Sorry if I wasn't clear... If I have your cell number stored in my phone as contact Cowboy, I would press the phone button and say, "Call Cowboy mobile". It says, dialing "Googley411". No matter who I try to 'Call' this is the contact that comes up on my display. Note, there is no contact like this stored on my phone. If I say, "dial 510-555-8172" it works fine. It makes me think the issue has something to do with my phone, or phone settings.

Try deleting the pairing and then re-pairing your phone. It sounds like your contacts that got read into the radio have some how gotten corrupted. So when you unpair/repair that will cause the contacts from your phone to get read in again, with a fresh new look.

Okay, sounds like a good idea. I will try that tonight and report back. Thanks!
