Default j30 recall

Hey.

Has anyone been updated with the new J30 recall?
I understand that it has something to do with a possible engine overheat, but couldn't find any more info and the tech people in my local garage are not that... well.... informed

Thanks,
M.

It's a program flash to add an automatic transmission over temp warning to '07 and '08 JK's. The cluster display will show "hot oil" should the transmission overheat.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Will I still be able to use my hypertech programmer after this update? Or will it override the J30 fix?

Make sure you program back to stock before you take it in.
After the flash, reprogram with the Hypertech.
