Default jeep is dead?

I was on my way to work, went out, turned the key and the dash lit up then went dim. Turned the key to hear one click and then.......nothing. I had a friend come over and try to jump start... 5 min later one click then...nothing. I had no lights on, no accessories left on. Is there a chance to get this replaced under warranty or am I on my own??

You sure the battery isn't just dead? My stock battery died then my replacement died? Second one was way dead. Took forever to jump. Replaced the second with a deep cycle hasn't died yet.

Red,
Which deep cycle are you using?
I live like 50 yards from a pep boys, was gonna walk over in the morn and get one. They stock optimas, all colors and the usual pep boy selection.

Any recommendations?

Just pull the battery, and walk it over with you and have them test it. Easy and Free. Then they'll credit you off the Core charge for turning in a battery, and buy and aftermarket. As soon as my stock one starts to falter, it's getting a Optima.

Ty I didn't think to get it tested, but I was gonna walk it over for the core credit.

I'm just a little pissed that the jeep is a little over a year old and the 5 year battery is dead!!

Cool

I traded my '06 TJ X for the '08 JK Rubi and I told them they could have the TJ as is (4 KC Slims on KC bumper hoop, and the 1000W power inverter in the back). Except for the three month old Odyssey PC1500 battery, they'd have to put that in the new Jeep, they could take the brand new one for the TJ, and they looked at me funny...
